Graduate Medical Education Coordinator II - Obstetric Gynecology Admin

About the role

The GME Coordinator II provides direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of educational activities for the graduate medical education program, serving as a key liaison among attending physicians, trainees, medical students, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physician Program Director, Chief Residents/Fellows, and residents/fellows in educational activities.
• Serve as a liaison between attending physicians, trainees, medical students, and administration.
• Manage and maintain the training program to ensure compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Act for and make decisions in the Physician Program Director's absence within prescribed limits of authority.
• Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem‑solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience as a GME Coordinator I or three (3) years of direct GME/Residency‑related experience; OR
• Associate’s degree and five (5) years of experience as a GME Coordinator I or five (5) years of direct GME/Residency‑related experience.
