Graduate Level Clinical Intern- Rehabilitative Programs (LPCC)
Position Details
Learn from other therapists and mental health practitioners (newly referred to behavioral health practitioner) through shadowing opportunities.
Carry a caseload of CTSS/ARMHS clients providing services in the client’s home and in the community.
Learn how to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Provide systemic, trauma-informed care through an attachment lens.
Learn how to write functional assessment, MHIS forms, treatment plans, and progress notes that meet DHS standards.
Grow professionally through a supportive, reflective supervisor relationship.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in a master's program in Counseling
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work at multiple locations throughout the week as dictated by client needs
- Has reliable vehicle and preferably able to transport clients
Application Process
We are currently accepting applications from potential interns for the spring and summer semesters of the 2026-2027 school year.
Intern applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Once you have applied, expect to hear from SBCC within 48 hours to schedule an interview with our internship coordinator. Interviews can be completed in person or via telehealth.
