About the role

Join our team in Rehabilitation where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Auxiliaries RN in developing the plan of care.
  • Auxiliaries patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
  • Communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.

Requirements

  • A current state LPN license.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • PALS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

One year of experience preferred.
