About the program
The Angela Wilkins Program of Graduate Studies in Education is a dynamic dual degree and licensure residency-based graduate program collaborating with the Carroll School and Northeastern University. It prepares graduates to address the literacy crisis in Massachusetts and beyond.
Program details
This intensive 12-month residency program begins in early June and concludes in June of the following year. Graduate interns attend courses at both the Carroll School and Northeastern University, and participate in a full-time immersive teacher residency in Carroll's classrooms. Additionally, interns receive nationally-accredited Orton-Gillingham training and certification at no extra cost.
Application process
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for the inaugural 2026-2025 cohort, with decisions made based on space availability and suitability for the residency-based program.
- Applications for the first cohort are due by May 31, 2026.
