Student Teacher (Intern)
Position Summary
A Student Teacher is a student studying to become a teacher who observes classroom instruction or teaches under close supervision in an elementary or secondary school. The role provides practical, real-life teaching experiences essential for developing teaching skills and adopting educational values.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Attendance is mandatory during Field Experience and Student Teaching placements.
- Be punctual, dependable, cooperative, and professional.
- Project a positive disposition with a growth mindset during student teaching.
- Participate in all tasks required of the mentor teacher, including faculty meetings, IEP meetings, or other requirements at the school site.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
