Internship Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Classroom Instruction: Gradual assumption of teaching responsibilities, designing lesson plans, delivering instruction, and assessing student learning.
- Collaboration: Working closely with mentor teachers to co-plan lessons, classroom activities, and assessments.
- Feedback and Reflection: Regular feedback sessions and reflective practice to improve teaching strategies.
Coursework and Assessments
- Active participation in certification-related coursework, including attending lectures, discussions, and completing readings.
- Submission of assignments on time and preparation for certification exams or performance-based assessments.
Professional Development
- Engagement in ongoing professional learning through workshops, seminars, and professional learning communities.
- Maintaining reflective journals or portfolios to document experiences, challenges, and successes.
Communication and Collaboration
- Building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Terms of Internship/Employment
- Defined roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Evaluation criteria and professional conduct standards.
