Graduate Engineer II, Water / Wastewater

About the role

The position is for a Graduate Civil Engineer interested in Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Support Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and construction
• Aid in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water & Wastewater projects
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Aid in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Cook up with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Water & Wastewater Utility projects and Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Design
• Passed the FE exam
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred
• Desired experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater
• Great communication skills
• Solid relationship and team building skills
• Self-motivated and strong organization skills
