About the role
This position primarily supports regional municipal clients with a wide variety of project types through a combination of design and field support. Project types may include: Utilities, municipal infrastructure, marinas, agriculture, parks and recreation, site and roadway illumination, private power distribution, and more.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of work plans and engineering services contracts, invoices, and amendments
- Planning, design, bidding, and construction engineering services on municipal and industrial projects
- Preparation of site layout, process mechanical, and process control for project using Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit, CadWorks software
- May perform construction administration duties such as documenting activities, communicating to project managers regarding status and progress of construction, measuring and testing, providing general oversight, and interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, residents and City Staff
- Complete project administration for municipal projects, including attending client meetings
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
- 1+ years of relevant, post-graduate engineering experience required
- FE/EIT required
- Revit and Civil3D experience preferred
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience
- Skills & Knowledge: Required to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required, 1+ years of relevant, post-graduate engineering experience required, FE/EIT required, Revit and Civil3D experience preferred
