About the role

The Graduate Engineer II at MSA, located in St. Paul, MN, supports regional municipal clients and projects. You will contribute to projects from start to finish, making a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple projects
  • Cookordinate multi-discipline projects
  • Prepare work plans and engineering services contracts, invoices, and amendments
  • Plan, design, bid, and construct engineering services for municipal water, wastewater, agriculture, and industrial projects
  • Create details, specifications, and bidding documents using Microsoft Word
  • Create site layout, process mechanical, and process control for projects using Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit, CadWorks software
  • Prepare regulatory permits for projects
  • Prepare construction cost estimates
  • Perform construction administration duties such as documenting activities, communicating with project managers, measuring and testing, providing general oversight, and interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, residents, and City Staff
  • Complete project administration for municipal projects including attending client meetings
  • Gain training and mentoring on project management and client liaison duties

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
  • 1+ years of relevant, post-graduate engineering experience required
  • FE/EIT required

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience

  • Skills & Knowledge: Relevant engineering knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit, CadWorks software
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 1+ years of relevant, post-graduate engineering experience

Compensation

  • Compensation Range: $62,615 –$100,185 (commensurate with experience)
