Graduate Engineer - Construction Engineering

About the role
We seek a well-prepared graduate from a top engineering school to join our Construction Engineering Services team, a specialized group within the Structures practice. In this role, you will work on projects for contractors, steel fabricators, erectors, and similar clients, supporting your Project Manager through:
- Analyzing and validating structures at different stages of construction
- Developing construction sequencing for complex structures
- Analysis and design of temporary structures to support construction
- Steel connection design
You will participate on project design teams for architectural projects across commercial, sports, aviation, healthcare, education, and cultural sectors. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in our industry-leading staff development program, MOORELearning.
Requirements
- Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering
- EIT certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated strength in steel design, steel connection design, and structural analysis
- SAP 2000 modeling experience
- Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred
- Work experience or internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or steel erectors is strongly preferred
