Overview
DeSales University, located in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre campus is situated 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. With a total enrollment of nearly 3,500, including undergraduate day and evening students, and graduate students, the university boasts 135 full-time faculty members offering over 40 bachelor's degrees, twelve graduate programs, and over 20 certificate programs across various disciplines. In 2024, the University adopted a new academic structure with four colleges/schools: the Kathleen Waterbury and J.B. Position Summary
The Graduate Assistant Tennis Coach will assist the head coach in practice, planning, game preparation, and other duties as assigned within the context of DeSales University's NCAA Division III athletics program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and collegiate playing experience required
- Acceptance to, and continued enrollment in, a DeSales University graduate program required
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required
- Goal Keeping experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills preferred
- Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability, and diversity
