What You’ll Do

The Assistant Tennis Professional supports the Head Tennis Professional in delivering exceptional tennis and pickleball programs by:

• Leading private lessons, clinics, and group activities for guests of all ages and skill levels
• Supporting pickleball growth
• Managing pro shop systems, retail needs, racquet stringing, and equipment recommendations
• Providing a welcoming, high-level guest experience including facility orientation, program explanation, equipment and towel service, and accurate entry of guest information into the reservation system
• Maintaining the tennis shop and facilities, including court setup and breakdown, cleaning, organizing retail areas, and keeping supplies fully stocked
• Answering phones and managing reservations to Four Seasons standards, while professionally assisting guests with resort and local information
• Maintaining strong knowledge of programs and court availability, anticipating guest needs, recognizing returning guests, and providing personalized service
• Ability to drive to support coverage at the Koele Tennis Facility in Lanai City

What To Bring

• Legal work authorization in the United States
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the tennis industry as a full-time instructor preferred; experience in a resort, country club, or luxury tennis environment is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain an organized workspace
• Professional demeanor with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, medium-volume setting
• Willingness to learn and assist with group programming, including adult cardio tennis, junior clinics, and advanced player clinics
• Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5 required; 5.0 preferred
