Graduate Assistant Talent Management
Summary of Job Duties
Human Resources is seeking a highly organized candidate with an excellent academic record for a graduate assistant position on the Talent & Organization Development team. The position focuses on supporting career pathing initiatives that help employees understand growth opportunities, identify skill and competency expectations, and navigate potential career progression within the organization. The duties of the position will include working with the manager of organization development and the director of talent and organization development to assist with research, data gathering, resource development, stakeholder coordination, and the creation of tools and materials that support employee career progression and development. Additional work may be done related to performance framework, and/or organizational change management. Other duties related to talent development, management, engagement, or wellness may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Graduate degree-seeking program at the University of Arkansas, with minimum 3.0 GPA, plus at least one year of relevant work experience
- Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven attention to detail, as well as the ability to problem-solve and prioritize
- Candidates must have the ability to multi-task, and the ability to think critically and logically
- Enrolled in one of the following or related graduate programs: Human Resources Development, Human Resources Management, Adult and Lifelong Learning, Business Administration, Operations Management
- Experience in career development, competency models, job architecture, talent management, or employee development
- Experience with research, data organization, writing, presentation development, or creating employee-facing resources
