Graduate Assistant Talent Development
Summary of Job Duties
Human Resources is seeking a highly organized graduate assistant with a strong academic record to join the Talent & Organization Development team. This position will support the design, implementation, and analysis of assessments and evaluation strategies that measure the effectiveness of employee, supervisor, leadership, and technical development programs. Working closely with the Director of Talent & Organization Development and the Manager of Training Design & Effectiveness, the graduate assistant will help gather and analyze data to ensure programs meet participant needs, achieve desired learning outcomes, and inform continuous improvement efforts. Additional responsibilities related to talent development, employee engagement, performance management, and well-being may be assigned as needed.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Graduate degree-seeking program at the University of Arkansas, with minimum 3.0 GPA, plus at least one year of relevant work experience
- Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven attention to detail, as well as the ability to problem-solve and prioritize
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enrolled in one of the following programs:
- Human Resources Development
- Adult and Lifelong Learning
- Business Administration
- Educational Technology
- Operations Management
- Experience in employee development, organizational development, instructional design, or user experience design
- Experience with research, data organization, writing, presentation development, or creating employee-facing resources
