Graduate Assistant (Research)
About the Role
This position supports a scholarship of teaching and learning project examining the implementation of a structured faculty development initiative within the DPT program, called the Education Symposium. The initiative aims to strengthen pedagogical knowledge among faculty with varying levels of teaching experience while supporting systematic curriculum review in preparation for CAPTE accreditation. Faculty participate in educational programming on foundational aspects of teaching and learning and complete a structured course analysis mapping course learning objectives.

Responsibilities
- Conduct literature searches and summarize scholarly sources.
- Utilize spreadsheet or database tools to organize and analyze project data.
- Support the coordination and documentation of faculty development activities.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for curriculum review and accreditation.
- Attend meetings and maintain organized project documentation.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with (or willingness to learn) spreadsheet or database tools.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and self-directed, while comfortable seeking clarification when needed.
Physical Demands
Physical demands are minimal and consistent with typical academic and office-based activities. Responsibilities may include prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, reading and reviewing documents, attending meetings, and organizing project materials.
Schedule
Part-time, 9-month position with 10 hours per week. Office hours are flexible depending on the candidate's schedule, primarily during the 1st shift.
