Location: Edinburg, Texas – College of Liberal Arts, Department of Philosophy, Provost – Academic Affairs

FTE: 0.50

Salary: $1,400.00

Desired Start Date: June 15, 2026

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be admitted to a graduate degree program.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Be registered full‑time for the respective semester – nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session, or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate student.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance on background material and collection of sources during Summer 2026 for the Principles of Bioethics and the Law book.
• Complete 100 hours of research assistance, working 10 hours per week for 10 weeks.
• Specific duties will be set in consultation with the supervising student.
