Graduate Assistant/Intern - Sports Information

Responsibilities

• Serve as an assistant coach with every aspect of the program.
• Aid in planning and implementing training sessions, scouting, recruiting, video analysis, individual player coaching sessions, equipment management, academic monitoring, and athlete fitness programs.
• Maintain compliance with NCAA, OAC, and University policies, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Acceptance into a Graduate Program at Heidelberg University.
• Undergraduate experience with athletics and/or intramural sports programs.
• Prior experience with a varsity program in the designated sport.
• Valid US driver's license within two months of hire date.

Qualifications

• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA throughout the appointment.
• Enrolled in graduate coursework in each semester of the appointment.

Benefits

• Tuition for 18 credit hours per year.
• $5000 stipend.
