Responsibilities
- Provide enrollment advising support to transfer students, including transcript evaluation, and guidance on transfer credit policies and pathways.
- Manage course equivalency database, including outreach to faculty for course review, as needed.
- Serve as a resource for Enrollment by answering questions related to academic programs, student services, and campus resources by attending events and meeting with students.
- Maintain accurate student records to facilitate the enrollment process.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment team and other campus partners to improve the transfer student experience.
- Auxiliary in developing enrollment related marketing materials for prospective students.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree is required. Previous experience working in higher education, admission or advising is preferred.
- Human Relations Skills: Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously. Ability to collaborate effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and detail-oriented; strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities; flexibility. Customer service experience is strongly preferred.
