Grading Foreman

Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Grading operations
• Assure that all safety and quality measures are taken
• Cookordinate with others including subcontractors, trucking and plant and perform other duties as assigned
• Travel is required and working in extreme weather conditions should be expected

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven Grading experience
• Supervisory and Strong communication skills (verbal and written) as well as basic computer skills
• Knowledge of all grading and paving equipment and operations
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction
• Able to read and understand plans
• Know how to set up and run GPS systems
• Finish blading with GPS controls
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ yrs of heavy civil construction experience with at least 5 years in overseeing grading construction
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong knowledge base of construction concepts, field application, and staging of work
• Strong blueprint ready and analysis skills
• Strong communication skills including troubleshooting, conflict resolution and problem solving
• Strong resource planning, construction phasing and trade work coordination of assigned projects
• Strong leadership skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to support world class safety culture
