About the role
DNT Construction, LLC is looking for field personnel as a Construction Grade Checker for rough and precise grading.
Responsibilities
- Understand plans and specs, layout of crew and project
- Provide clear direction for cut/fill
- Set hubs and stakes
- Calculate percentages, volumes, areas, and production rates
- Accurately set grade
- Set up sloping laser
- Shoot in building elevations
- GPS setup & operation
- Operate within OSHA and DNT safety policies
- Help to achieve project schedules
- Be ON TIME and READY TO WORK
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Work outside in all weather for extended periods of time
- Communicate effectively with management and field personnel
Requirements
- Experience in the use of measuring instruments and hand tools
- Training in marking and reading survey stakes to determine grade specifications
- The ability to observe, direct, and control equipment excavating activities to conform to stake references
- The ability to communicate with equipment operators, supervision, and management
Qualifications
- Bilingual is a plus but not a must

Pay
Compensation is based on experience.
Schedule
