GRADE 5 PLANT OPERATOR - FULL-TIME - WASTEWATER

Pay

Pay: $26.48 - $33.53 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Thursday

Responsibilities

• Skilled manual work in the operation, maintenance and repair of specialized stationary equipment and machinery at the Town's Wastewater Treatment Facility
• All other related work as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, plus three years' experience in Wastewater Treatment Facility operations, maintenance and repair, including experience with electric motor or diesel engine and centrifugal pumps
• Considerable knowledge of the Town's Wastewater Treatment Facility and of the pumping and treatment equipment
• Mechanical knowledge and ability
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Grade 5 license required
