Grade 3 Permanent Substitute Teacher (February. - May 2026)

Responsibilities

• Instructs assigned students employing varied instructional strategies; using technology where appropriate.
• Works cooperatively with colleagues, parents and administrators.
• Plans instruction with teaching team members and instructional specialist.
• Attends workshops and in-service seminars as prepared by Assistant Superintendent to improve instruction.
• Communicates regularly with parents and administration.

Qualifications

• Elementary Massachusetts Certification required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of varied instructional strategies.
• Evidence of current course work in elementary curriculum.
• Knowledge of technology as an instructional tool.
• Demonstrated understanding of sound growth and development principles.
• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills.
