About the role
We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting while learning from experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
- Support pharmacy teams in ensuring smooth operations and patient satisfaction
- Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy and care
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including immunizations and point-of-care testing
- Support offsite clinics and other patient health care services
Requirements
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
- Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Qualifications
- Attention and focus: Ability to concentrate on tasks and respond quickly to changing needs
- Communication skills: Active listening and clear verbal/written interaction with patients and colleagues
- Problem resolution: Identifying and addressing patient or colleague issues effectively
- Physical demands: Mobility, reaching overhead, lifting up to 20 lbs.
