About the role

This position ensures compliance with FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The role involves precision assembly, inspection, and operation of specialized equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as defined by company policies to meet FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards.
• Assemble components, including those with tight tolerances, complex, or miniature geometry.
• Operate packaging machines, bar sealing, and tray sealing equipment as required.
• Perform pad printing duties.
• Operate laser and resistance welding equipment.
• Inspect and assemble components under magnification, using advanced dexterity for very small or miniature parts.
• Perform equipment-intensive assembly processes, making adjustments as authorized by procedures.
• Retain complex assembly process instructions without requiring frequent retraining.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain 5S principles in all work areas.
• Participate in rapid movement events (e.g., process improvements or lean initiatives).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
• One year of external manufacturing work experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow specification sheets and basic mathematical skills for tolerances and variation.
• Proficiency in using measuring devices, hand tools (e.g., Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers), and operating independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate concerns or issues to support staff and Production Supervisor.
• Positive attitude and willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including protective eyewear, ear plugs, hair nets, lab coats, hoods, and shoe covers.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and standing, with significant use of hands.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination.
