GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CONSULTANT I - 64068032

Specific Responsibilities

• Provides operational, logistical, and clerical support to disaster preparedness and emergency relief and recovery efforts.
• Procures program commodities or services through My Florida Market Place (MFMP).
• Maintains supplies spending plans for the preparedness program and coordinates with internal and external support partners for supply deployment.
• Assists with recruitment, training, and credentialing of volunteers for the CRI Program.
• Supports the CRI Program Coordinator with training on infectious agents and bio-terrorism.
• Assists with community outreach activities to identify and assist risk homebound communities, large employment centers, and other stakeholders.
• Acts as the Administrator for Ready Op and Everbridge Emergency Notification systems.
• Coordinates with internal and external partners for WEB EOC enhancements and inputting CEMP directory.
• Participates in planning, trainings, and exercises related to all-hazards and disaster preparedness.
• Supports the FDOH-PBC’s Residency Program and its annual PHP Rotation.
• Supports the PHP Program and the FDOH-PBC’s overall mission.
• Performs weekly 800 MGHz radio checks and maintains assigned radio list and equipment.
• Participates in activities related to PPE, decontamination procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Licensure/registration/certification requirements: N/A
• Job-related requirements: Incumbent may be required to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Must successfully complete ICS 300, ICS 400, IS 120, IS 230, and IS 235 training. May require use of state or county vehicles for official state business.
• Working hours: Daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, total hours in workweek 40, may require evening, weekend, and holiday work, and emergency deployment to other counties in Florida.
