About the role

The Role Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure. They analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems. Additionally, they engage in long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to current projects by analyzing problems and tech issues, offering solutions, and testing, modifying, automating, and integrating systems.
• Engage in long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution.
• Offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify technical and timeline risks upfront.
• Deal with both client expectations and internal challenges, ensuring contributions are witnessed by clients.
• Experience variety and growth through involvement in the lifespan of a project and close collaboration with Architects, Technicians, and PMs.

Requirements

• Must pass FBI, BCI, and drug testing.
• Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Enterprise IT application experience (e.g. ServiceNow).
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud (AWS).
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow administration and call center operation.
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong process improvement experience.
• Occasional second shift, on-call, weekend work.

Benefits

The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement. This position is eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans.

Pay

The compensation range for this position in the US is $100,080 to $190,080 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience.

Schedule

This is a project-based role where you'll enjoy deep involvement throughout the lifespan of a project, as well as the chance to work closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs. Occasional second shift, on call, weekend work may be required.
