Government Contract Bidding Specialist

About The Role

We are expanding our footprint into the public sector. This highly specialized role focuses exclusively on government and PSU contracts. You will be responsible for scanning portals like GeM, drafting exhaustive technical proposals, and managing the complex compliance requirements of public sector bidding.

What You'll Do

• Continuously monitor GeM (Government e-Marketplace), CPP Portal, and other global public procurement sites for relevant IT tenders.
• Analyze tender documents, RFPs, and RFQs to determine feasibility, compliance requirements, and profitability.
• Cook up comprehensive, error-free bid responses in coordination with legal, finance, and engineering teams.
• Manage EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) processes and ensure all submissions meet strict deadlines.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and negotiate terms with government nodal officers.
• Maintain a repository of standard compliance documents, technical write-ups, and company profiles.

What We're Looking For

• 3-6 years of proven experience specifically in bidding for and winning Government IT/Software contracts.
• Deep understanding of the GeM portal, GFR (General Financial Rules), and public procurement compliance in India.
• Exceptional document management and proposal writing skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail — a single missed compliance document can disqualify a multi-million rupee bid.
• Strong existing relationships with system integrators (SIs) and government consultants is a major plus.
• Patience and tenacity to navigate long, bureaucratic sales cycles.
