Goodwill Retail Director

Requirements

• Sensitive to guest needs and wishes
• Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities or other special needs preferred
• Computer experience and competency in internet use and a variety of computer software applications
• Read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with staff and guests

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
• Moderate lifting and bending
• Overtime and evenings required to meet deadlines
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed within the territory of ESGW and to national meetings
• Reliable transportation, a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance

Supervisory Experience

• Supervisory experience for more than 20 Team Members

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent
• 5+ years Retail experience in a high-level management position that supervised multiple retail sites
• Experience in product flow and efficiency of operations
• Experience developing public relations/advertising/promotional plans

About the Role

Directs operations of Goodwill stores to meet planned goals, maximizes profitability through sound management policies, and serves as a liaison between Easter Seals-Goodwill administration and Goodwill Managers.

Responsibilities

Maintains safety program with a goal of 0 accidents, oversees operations of Goodwill stores, develops public relations/advertising/promotional plans, and supports the company in all issues.
