Goodwill Intern/Volunteer

Key Responsibilities

• Aiding in program development, implementation, and evaluation
• Aiding with retail and/or warehousing management and growth
• Serving as support for community outreach and engagement initiatives
• Attending team meetings and contributing to strategic discussions
• Performing administrative tasks and project coordination
• Creating content for internal and external communications (e.g., newsletters, social media)

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program
• Passion for nonprofit work and community impact
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Interest in learning and growing in a professional or retail management environment
• Commitment to Goodwill’s mission and values

Program Details

• Location: Goodwill of Southwestern PA Territory (Includes North Central West Virginia)
• Duration: flexible based on academic calendar
• Hrs: Part-time (10–20 hours/week) or full-time options available
• Compensation: Unpaid or stipend-based, depending on department and funding
