About the Role
To aid the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professional in managing the day-to-day golf operations with an emphasis on performing and executing the duties of the golf operation consistent with the vision and objectives of DWA Golf, LLC.
Responsibilities
- Accurately reserve tee times and check in golfers for their tee times.
- Practice good tee sheet management and rate integrity.
- Ensure proper accounting of the golf shop register and all transactions, deposits, and cash.
- Practice accurate cash management skills and recommend improvements to the Head Golf Professional.
- Have a working knowledge of all club policies and procedures to accurately handle daily activities.
- Operate within all standards of DWA Golf and perform administrative duties when asked.
- Aid the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professional with all golf tournament practices and ensure each event is run in accordance with DWA Golf standards.
- In the absence of the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professional, manage and execute day-to-day golf operations, including all outside operations, training, managing, and developing the golf operations team.
- Participate in and learn proper merchandising practices to maintain an orderly golf shop operation.
- Sell merchandise to club members and guests and recommend promotions to the Head Golf Professional for implementation.
