GOLF PRO SHOP PART-TIME CLERK

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Answer phone calls, enter reservations, starting and monitoring of play, track and verify all players and guests, rent golf carts.
• Operate point of sale system to sell merchandise, concessions and beer.
• Able to handle cash and make change.
• Prepare food, keep concession area clean, ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Clean bathrooms and take out trash.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  • Equivalent to a high school education.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of safe handling of food, point of sales systems, retail sales, and inventory control methods.
  • Familiarity with modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills including the ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and fractions.
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and make sound decisions.
  • Physical demands include regular standing, walking, talking, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working with the public.
