Golf Shop Clerk

Essential Duties

• Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop.
• Responsible for the accountability of all sales and money transactions made.
• Collections applicable fees from patrons as they arrive.
• Makes reservations (tee-times, classes, etc) and assists customers on the phone.
• Sells merchandise and provides information in a professional manner to guests.
• Aids in rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly.
• Aids in general cleaning of the shop or store.
• Aids in creating appealing displays.
• Aids in periodic physical inventories.

About the Role

The individual must be an expert on POS software. The position is seasonal, working through November, including weekends. While golf knowledge is helpful, it is not a requirement. This is a part-time role offering superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting in various administrative tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in POS software is a must. Basic computer skills are necessary. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is important. Reliable attendance is required.
