About the Role
Members of the Golf Outside Service’s Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, world-class experiences through hands-on service and unreasonable hospitality. Golf Outside Services members handle bag drop, practice facilities, staging golf carts, and the cleaning and storage of golf carts each evening.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service in Bag Drop, Practice Facilities, and End of Round Experiences
- Initiate contact with guests with a warm welcome and willingness to assist
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and effectively communicate pertinent information among team members and supervisory staff
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities
- Demonstrate initiative in solving guest concerns using sound judgment
- Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with continuous improvement expectations
- Consistently achieve high work standards, attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic understanding of golf operations and experience in hospitality preferred
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods, work safely, and communicate effectively
- Able to work in outside weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, and grasping on a consistent basis
- Available to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings as business demands
Skills
- Writing – Communicating effectively in writing for the audience’s needs
- Basic Computer Skills – Using hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing, Internet browsers)
- Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
- Oral Comprehension – Listening to and understanding information presented through spoken words
- Analytical/Critical Thinking – Gathering and organizing information logically; recognizing patterns and relationships in complex data; drawing conclusions; generating alternative solutions; evaluating strengths, weaknesses, and consequences
Physical Requirements
