Golf Operations Staff
General Purpose
Golf Operations Staff will offer friendly and expedient service to the property's guests and assist the golf staff with golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and other golf-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer reservations for golf course guests.
- Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process.
- Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
- Collect green fees, cart fees, and other revenue from guests, and process transactions through the POS system as trained.
- Issue receipts for guest purchases.
- Take messages for staff or guests.
- Absist with packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
- Absist with reconciling cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of business.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- A friendly and positive personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Dependable and strong work ethic
- Knowledge of the game of golf preferred
