About the role

Lehigh Resort & Golf Club is a timeshare with a 9-hole public golf course that has been recently renovated. It features beautiful tree-lined fairways and a welcoming environment for members, guests, and tournaments.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and supervision of the maintenance team
  • Turf health and conditioning
  • Irrigation systems
  • Budgeting
  • Compliance with all environmental and safety regulations
  • Oversee all golf course maintenance operations, including turf, landscaping, irrigation, and equipment
  • Manage, train, and schedule maintenance staff
  • Develop and implement agronomic plans to ensure high-quality playing conditions
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems and drainage
  • Purchase supplies and equipment while managing inventory efficiently within the budget
  • Work closely with management and Pro Shop staff to coordinate course play, maintenance schedules, and events

Requirements

  • Minimum of 35 years of golf course supervisor or assistant experience
  • Hands-on, experienced leader with strong agronomic knowledge and organizational skills
  • Current Florida pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain one
  • Strong knowledge of Turf Eagle species, pest management, and irrigation systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 35 years of golf course supervisor or assistant experience, be a hands-on, experienced leader with strong agronomic knowledge and organizational skills, possess a current Florida pesticide applicator license or the ability to obtain one, and have strong knowledge of Turf Eagle species, pest management, and irrigation systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are also required.
