Golf Course Maintenance - Equipment Operator I (FT/Seasonal)

About the Role

Seasonal role from July to September 2026. The Golf Course Maintenance - Equipment Operator I, under supervision of the golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent or foreman, performs work involving the use of small and large equipment, including tractors, mowers, backpack blowers, weed eaters and other maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
• Driving the bunker rake
• Changing cups and tee markers
• Manicuring lake banks and other areas on the course
• Weed eating
• Aerifying, topdressing and cutting tees, greens, fairways
• Performing other jobs as may be assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to maintain the condition of the course to Hyatt standards

Qualifications

• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Valid driver's license
• Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience and a thorough understanding of mechanics is a plus

Pay

$16.50/hour
