Key Responsibilities
- Greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process sales transactions accurately, including processing payments, and completing settlement documentation
- Maintain high standards for customer service, sales performance, and sales floor presentation
- Utilize effective selling techniques to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience
- Aid with merchandising execution to optimize product presentation, sales, and customer satisfaction
- Support the development and upkeep of floor standards, visual merchandising, customer service practices, and sales techniques
- Keep the selling area clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Recommend items and quantities for product reorders based on sales trends and inventory levels
- Aid with inventory management and receiving new merchandise
- Aid with coordinating and promoting special events, tournaments, and member programs
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, pricing, and golf industry trends
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Support basic golf course maintenance and cleaning as needed
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of merchandising principles or willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and team members
