Responsibilities
- Support design, analysis, and verification of GNC algorithms and architecture
- Review and guide flight software design for performance improvement
- Evaluate system behavior across mission phases
- Develop and execute operational concepts for GNC systems
- Monitor vehicle performance and make critical recommendations during operations
- Define system and console requirements for GNC subsystems
- Support integrated testing and validation efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience with strong foundation in orbital mechanics, control systems, and guidance algorithms
- Experience with flight software, real-time operational environments, and telemetry systems
- Ability to operate under pressure and communicate technical issues clearly
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
