About the role

Lorien Mays Chapel is hiring compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to join our award-winning healthcare team. We are dedicated to providing person-centered care that enhances the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support to residents
• Absorb and communicate effectively with nursing staff
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment
• Safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

• Maryland GNA license required
• BLS certification required
• Caregiver must have a compassionate, patient-focused personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in long-term care or rehab preferred but not required

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00/hour (experience-based)
• Shift Differentials: Same Day Pay for all Employees!
• Schedule: Full Time, Part-Time and PRN Hours
• Availability: Days, Evenings and Nights
• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
