Responsibilities
- Place and manage purchase orders for contract manufacturers based on firm production plans.
- Cook up and coordinate the procurement of labels, packaging components, and other materials needed for manufacturing.
- Monitor and adjust order frequency based on demand trends.
- Reconcile SAP inventory with contract manufacturer inventory monthly.
- Participate in ongoing training with Operations Finance to maintain process alignment.
- Distribute weekly open-order reports and follow up on ETAs and past-due purchase orders.
- Perform daily tracking and follow-up on incoming shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage additional order and operations reports as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement roles (additional experience may be considered based on the minimum experience specified).
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across functions and with external partners.
