GMP Plant Maintenance Mechanic — Packaging & Assembly Systems

About the role

The GMP Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing packaging and assembly systems in a food manufacturing plant. This position ensures that all equipment operates safely and efficiently to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair packaging and assembly systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns
• Respond to emergency situations to ensure plant safety and production continuity
• Follow GMP guidelines and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in plant maintenance or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of GMP and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
