Key Requirements
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You have a High School Degree or equivalent.
- You have 2+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
- You have experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair.
- You have knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
- You have the ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
- You must be able to lift to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
- You enjoy working as a part of a larger team to make an impact.

- LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe all company safety policies and procedures and maintain good housekeeping, GMP, and Global Food Safety practices.
- Changeover, repair, and troubleshoot all plant production equipment.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
- Identify and diagnose complex problems with mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic issues on all associated equipment (conveyors, compressors, chillers, programmable controllers, robots).
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Dismantle and reassemble machines to fit or replace necessary parts.
- Able to perform preventative maintenance based on Preventative Maintenance schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and complete maintenance reports as required.
- Maintain plant equipment to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Able to work with vendors and/or contractors as required.
- Ensure spare parts or services are ordered as required.
- Implement operational improvements (spoilage, downtime, line speeds, etc.).
- Train others to operate equipment and produce products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organization of spare parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Investigate electrical and instrument equipment failures and develop action plans to eliminate repetitive failures.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
