GMP Laboratory Technician
We are currently hiring for multiple Laboratory Sanitation/Sterilization Technicians in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
About the role
The Laboratory Sanitation/Sterile Technician plays a critical role in assuring sanitary conditions of the controlled areas of manufacturing pharmaceuticals and related medical products. This role will primarily focus on keeping the cleanroom laboratory sterilized; candidates will have to fully gown up when going in and out of rooms.
- Performs sanitary cleaning duties of equipment and working stations, ensuring that everything meets necessary regulations.
- Keeps the cleanroom sterilized so nothing gets cross contaminated in the pharmaceuticals.
- Maintains accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies ensuring supplies are never depleted.
- Trains and oversees other Aseptic Cleaners.
- Performs other oversight duties.
Requirements
- MUST have at least a high school diploma or GED.
- MUST have at least 6+ months of experience performing sanitation/cleaning in a regulated environment. Examples of regulated environments may include, but are not limited to: pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments, cleaning surgery rooms in a hospital, etc.
- Experience MUST include the use of PPE and/or following strict regulations.
- Regular janitorial experience without regulated experience and strict PPE requirements would not meet the qualifications (such as cleaning just office buildings, schools, etc.).
- Would also consider candidates who don't have cleaning experience, but have experience working in a sterile/cleanroom lab.
Schedule
2nd shift, 2:30pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday (need some flexibility to work overtime as needed).
Pay
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
