GMK Marketing Intern - Insight FS - Jefferson, WI

Insight FS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin with 23 branches across the state and the upper peninsula of Michigan. The cooperative serves approximately 50,000 customers in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. Insight FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

About the Role

Trains and assists with various communication functions to ensure timely flow of information for the company's marketing efforts, customer satisfaction, and employee team efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates assigned exhibit and activity details for events.
• Supports internal events for GROWMARK staff, including the annual Winter Conference, by developing and sending pre-event communications, processing registrations, and coordinating details with locations.
• Composes correspondence and reports.
• Writes for a wide variety of advertising products.
• Supports other administrative departments as needed.
• Represents GROWMARK in a professional manner at events.
• Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures as applicable.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Marketing or Communications Degree at a 4-year university.
• Proven oral and written communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated planning, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary.
• Ability and willingness to participate in required training, including education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures.
