GME Program Manager 2-Oral Surgery (Knoxville)

Responsibilities

• Captures and reports accurate programmatic data for annual reports to the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
• Maintains records of certification courses for residents and faculty.
• Manages the application, interview, and recruitment process for prospective residents, including scheduling interviews, meals, and equipment setup.
• Directs the medical student and dental student externship program, including scheduling, setting up housing, and correspondence.
• Maintains a database of documentation and statistics of resident surgical cases in ED, OR, and outpatient clinics.
• Coordinates resident and faculty evaluations.
• Updates department website in relation to Residency and Fellowship Programs.
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in lieu of experience, with at least six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and work experience to equal six (6) years.
