Global Senior Logistics Manager

About the Role

If you have experience in managing transportation and logistics services, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will be responsible for leading a motivated group of global logistics personnel as they manage the logistics service providers aligned with Copeland’s global logistics strategy. Through collaboration with business units supply chain as well as sales & operations leaders, develop & implement strategic initiatives to improve cost, on-time delivery, and reliability. This role is ideally based in our St. Louis, Missouri location; however, consideration will be given to highly qualified candidates not in St Louis.

Responsibilities

• Manage Copeland’s global transportation strategy
• Lead a global team that executes global sourcing activities using a standard sourcing process
• Drive continuous improvement through strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• Deal with ambiguity and think critically to deliver solutions in support of operational excellence
• Implement transportation strategy utilizing Copeland’s global transportation management system
• Oversee and/or execute data analytics to enable continuous operational improvement and alignment with Copeland’s business system
• Work closely with business unit Logistics and Supply Chain Leaders to identify cost savings opportunities and implement sustainable solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years’ experience in logistics or transportation management
• Global experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational change in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Management experience
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally (30%)

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• Manufacturing experience

Work Arrangement

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration-first mindset, being flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs.
