GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a detail-oriented Global Security Operations Center Operator to join our team in Santa Clara, CA.
About the role
As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will monitor security systems, detect threats, and ensure the safety of individuals and property in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Requirements
- State security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during the hiring process)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of GSOC experience
- Experience using systems like Lenel, CCure, and similar access control platforms
- Experience creating, issuing, and collecting badges for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors
- 21 years of age or older
- Strong report writing skills and sharp visual acuity with exceptional concentration
- Strong proficiency with technology
Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $33.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Tuesday - Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
