Global Safety Specialist

About the role

This is a specialist-level position within HSB’s Corporate Safety Department for an individual holding a BS and preferably additional safety education or designations or with comparable field experience as it relates to the development or betterment of a safety program. The prime responsibility is to assist the VP Global Safety in managing the Corporate Safety Program.

Responsibilities

• Affirm the Corporate Safety Program
• Support the VP Global Safety in managing the Corporate Safety Program

Requirements

• Holds a BS degree
• Preferably holds additional safety education or designations
• Has comparable field experience related to safety program development or improvement

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of safety principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
