Role Overview: A Manager in Compensation & Benefits within a global mobility services practice, responsible for delivering tax, compensation, and HR-related services to clients. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Tax, Audit, and Advisory teams, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions to analyze and advise on client compensation and benefits strategies.Manage senior-level client relationships, oversee service delivery, and lead teams of tax professionals on client projects.Supervise engagement risk, financial performance, billing, collections, and budgeting.Assess tax implications, develop supporting arguments, and recommend solutions to clients.Contribute to market activities, provide team leadership, and act as a coach and mentor to professionals. Qualifications & Skills Minimum five years of recent federal tax experience, especially in employer benefits, global compensation, M&A, executive pay, mobility tax, or corporate taxation.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field; law degree is a plus.Professional credentials such as CPA, EA, JD, MBA, or equivalent, with a one-year window to obtain required certifications if not already held.Strong client management, advisory, compliance, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax issues effectively.Experience managing multiple client engagements and leading teams.
