Global Production Control Supervisor - Cleanroom

About the Role

This position supervises production control coordinators to ensure schedules are met and customer shipments are completed on time. Responsibilities include training PCC employees, leading and directing all Manufacturing and Service PCCs, and international travel as required. The role is integral to the global manufacturing team, operating regionally and globally with a focus on local operations success.

Responsibilities

• Report metrics to the Global Director of Disposable Containers, including material shortage reports to expedite needs via collaboration with supply chain, quality, and supporting departments.
• Serve as a Disposable Containers Production Control Coordinator (DC PCC), processing technical drawings, bills of materials, and specifications to expedite materials for shop floor manufacturing.
• Issue, track, and close shop floor work orders, ensuring materials are supplied to the production floor according to released schedules and date-driven plans.
• Expedite and prioritize work orders, material pick lists, and related materials to meet published schedules and commitments.
• Collaborate with project management and project controls to update and maintain labor forecasts and project build progress measurements.
• Supervise material handlers and manage inventory accuracy.
• Forecast materials and attend project team meetings, completing assigned action items on time.
• Maintain weekly updates on posted manufacturing labor numbers.
• Perform other assigned tasks and travel internationally as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a custom/specialty manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate or higher Excel skills, including data manipulation and statistics.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; Syteline experience is a plus.
• Experience with Quality Systems and/or certification in Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
